Creating a profile
When you launch foundercentre, you will land on our home page:
If you are new to the platform, click "Sign Up" in the top right.
You will be prompted by a "Sign Up" screen allowing you to use Google, Facebook or your email. Note: Each business will only have one profile so when creating an account make sure you are doing so in a way that other members of your business will be able to access (so potentially not your personal Gmail account!)
If you are not directed to the "Edit Startup Profile" page automatically, click in the top right, select your avatar and click "Edit my startup"
Fill out all the required fields and upload any pictures or documents you feel represent your startup (you can always come back to this later so just put something down!). Note: Please ensure that none of the documents you upload contain sensitive information as it will be publically available.
Click submit changes!
This will go to the foundercentre team to verify and you will receive an email once this is done. Note: All changes go to the foundercentre team for approval. We do this to maintain quality across the platform and aim to get to your submission as quickly as possible.
Showcasing your profile
Showcase your startup with your free personalised webpage. Centralise everything a potential partner, mentor or investor would want to know about your businesses. This is what we're calling the "reinvented" pitch deck.
How it works:
Once your profile has been verified, your startup will be showcased on the matching platform.
You will also have a unique personalised URL which allows you to share how your startup works with other startups, partners or more widely via social media (be sure to tag us!).
Start matchmaking
At foundercentre, our mission is to create a barrier-free community for startups to develop high-quality synergistic connections to help your idea and startup grow to the next level.
Once on the "Startup Matchmaking" page:
You can filter by Industry, Stage, City, Employees, What the startup is looking for, and if they have EIS/SEIS Advanced Assurance.
Select a startup profile by clicking on their tile or "view full profile".
Check out their profile and if it's a profile you'd like to connect with send them a match request!
To match both profiles have to like each other.
Once you match you will be notified by email that a private group has been formed with the other startup allowing you to connect, message and share files privately - you can find this in the "Your matches and groups section".
Note: Only after your account has been verified by the team will you have a profile and be able to start sending likes. We have done this to ensure the quality of the founders on the platform.
Directories:
foundercentre is the first FREE centralised startup platform to help you find the third-party services your startup needs.
Our team constantly updates the directories and will add new directories to help you have all the services you need available at the click of your fingers.

How it works:
Select the directory you want: Incubators and Accelerators, Co-Working Spaces, Investors, Insurance, and Legal Services.
Filter to find what suits your startup needs.
Click "Read more" to expand the description of the service.
Once you find the right service for your startup click through to their website!
Note: When you go to an external website if there is a space to say where you've come from, please let them know it's foundercentre! Free promotion like this is what keeps the platform free for you to use.
